REBRANDING!

For years, I have had two blogs:

Injured Worker Help Desk for (drumroll, please!) Injured and disabled workers, AND
Job Search for the Rest of Us for job seekers and career-changers, including disabled and injured workers.

In an effort to assist my colleagues more frequently and in more in-depth, I have decided to refocus each of these blogs to:

Injured Worker Help Desk for Professionals working with injured and disabled workers AND
Job Search for the Rest of Us for Job Seekers and career-changers, including disabled and injured workers.

It is my hope that this will allow other professionals to more readily share Job Search for the Rest of Us with their clients and to read and comment more on Injured Worker Help Desk.

I hope this helps and look forward to hearing from you!

Comprehensive Job Readiness Package

What is it? My Job Readiness Package includes an interactive guide to give to your job search client to prepare him or her to conduct a meaningful and successful job search. This guide is specifically designed with career changers in mind, but can be useful for those new to the job hunt or returning to the workforce after some time off.  In addition to the valuable guide sold separately for each client, you will also receive Downloadable Worksheets and a PowerPoint Slide show you can review with your client or choose to have them review my narration. You may choose to have your injured worker attend online sessions with live interaction with me.

Why do you need it? You are busy! You may have too many clients, you may be trying to meet documentation expectations and guidelines. Your time may be better spent providing higher-level, personalized counseling. Perhaps you have been using the same copied-over handouts and forms and would value an update to those old standbys. The package includes detailed, suggested case note frames for each Session.

How does it work?  I will mail your client the workbook and email you the presentation and downloads for your meetings. Typically I cover one session a week with my clients and encourage them to write into the workbook itself, but the downloads are handy if you have to cover a topic more than once or have them redo an activity. Either you can review the information with them following the PowerPoint as a guide and/or you can ask them to review the narrated version.

How much does it cost?  The cost is $99 and can be passed on to your customer - at about the hourly rate you provide services for it is a bargain! Here is a brief video of the first session as a sample for you to consider - no narration on this one, but you will get an idea of the kind of information included.

Need help with changing careers, finding a job after college or leave of absence? It's not easy, but I can help! Resume, Cover Letter, LinkedIn, Interviewing, Career Goals are all services I provide to my clients every day. I can also help developing this for counselors on a subcontract basis!

Contact me for the PowerPoint to access helpful downloads.
